Bridgewater CEO Nir Bar Dea said artificial intelligence could affect 18% of the U.S. workforce if the technology remains insufficiently regulated and society is not prepared for rapid change. He said Bridgewater remains strongly positive about AI’s potential benefits but recognizes that technologies capable of reshaping the world can also produce serious negative consequences, including widespread social disruption.
