Soneium has joined OP Enterprise’s fully managed tier, giving OP Labs responsibility for supporting the network’s sequencer, nodes, monitoring, software upgrades and incident response. The agreement, announced Sept. 30 during Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul, sets a 99.9% monthly uptime target and round-the-clock on-call support, while Soneium retains ownership of the chain and authority over its technology, roadmap and product decisions. Soneium’s engineers will continue developing the OP Stack-based Ethereum layer-2 network alongside OP Labs, with tokenized intellectual property identified as the starting point for its on-chain entertainment strategy. The network has previously hosted licensed anime collectibles, while its wider ecosystem includes Startale’s privacy plans and Sony-related digital-asset initiatives.
