Ford shares fell after Chief Executive Jim Farley said a resolved supplier disruption halted F-150 production for about a week at a Michigan plant and would reduce third-quarter wholesale deliveries. The interruption adds to Ford's efforts to restore output of its high-margin pickup following fires at a key aluminum supplier that disrupted truck production for more than a year. Ford's overall U.S. sales through August were down 10%, while F-Series truck sales fell 11%. The company also faces a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recall covering 41,748 Expedition SUVs and Super Duty trucks over a headlight defect. Ford shares were down 2.36% at $12.02 at publication.
