Google has asked the Luxembourg General Court to suspend a European Commission order requiring it to share search data with OpenAI, rival search engines and AI chatbots. The application for an interim measure followed Google’s decision on Tuesday to challenge the order in Europe’s second-highest court. Google says the measure could cause serious harm to European users’ privacy and weaken security safeguards, while the Commission says its decision accounts for integrity, security and personal-data protection.
