Bitwise's spot NEAR ETF, trading as NRR on NYSE Arca, surpassed $52.8 million in assets under management after two trading days, up from roughly $36 million on its debut day. The fund recorded $13.2 million in net inflows and $20.1 million in trading volume on its second session, which Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan described as a strong launch. NRR charges a 0.75% annual fee and provides direct exposure to NEAR while staking its holdings, with annual staking yield cited at around 5% and reflected in the fund's net asset value. A 40-page Bitwise report by Hougan and head of European research André Dragosch frames NEAR Protocol as potential settlement infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. Its bull case values NEAR at $562.81 by 2030 if the network captures 3% of the global AI-agent market, while its bear case puts the token at $1.63 if centralized companies retain control of the sector. The ETF's launch followed a September rally in which NEAR nearly tripled from its August lows before settling around $4.99. NEAR Intents and the protocol's planned expansion of gas-fee burning remain important factors alongside continuing ETF flows.
