Verizon removed all STARZ channels, STARZ On Demand and the STARZ app from its Fios service after the companies failed to reach a renewal agreement. STARZ said Verizon misrepresented its position and did not negotiate in good faith, following an earlier warning that customers could lose access if talks failed. The removal affects programming including the Power Universe, Power: Origins, Outlander, Outlander: Blood of my Blood, P-Valley, S.W.A.T. Exiles and Tip Toe, along with STARZ's film library, including Michael. STARZ President Alison Hoffman has described the independent programmer as a source of competition and an alternative for women and underrepresented audiences. STARZ Entertainment LLC trades under the symbol STRZ on Nasdaq and distributes its programming through digital OTT platforms and multichannel video distributors.
