Paris Croissant has named Kang Shin-bong, former head of Samsung Electronics’ Direct to Consumer (D2C) Center, as its new chief executive officer. Kang has worked across consumer, platform and global businesses at Boston Consulting Group, eBay, Yogiyo and Samsung Electronics. The company said he will pursue customer- and market-driven innovation, improve its business structure and identify new opportunities and future growth drivers. Do Se-ho, who became chief executive in November last year, will retain his roles as chairman of the Sangmidang Council and co-chief executive of Samlip, where he leads alongside Chung In-ho.
