Flop Labs CEO Arthur Hayes described Hyperliquid as the best-run decentralized exchange (DEX) on September 12 and said it remained the best perpetual-futures DEX on September 30. He also indicated that its strong operating performance did not necessarily make it the most profitable investment and that its risk-reward profile had become less attractive. A perp DEX offers perpetual futures contracts without fixed expiration dates.
