XRP rose for three consecutive months in the third quarter for the first time on record, gaining more than 43% as July, August and September each ended higher. XRP finished September above $1.50 with a market capitalization of about $95 billion, supported by institutional demand through U.S. spot XRP ETFs, a September short squeeze and falling exchange balances. SoSoValue data showed more than $120 million of September ETF additions, bringing cumulative net inflows to nearly $1.8 billion. The token’s weekly chart also broke a descending trendline that had contained it since July 2025. October remains a key test, with an average return of negative 4.71% and losses in 2024 and 2025, although the broader fourth quarter has averaged a 13.3% gain. Ripple’s late-October Swell conference, institutional developments, ETF flows and Federal Reserve policy are among the catalysts to watch.
