Foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia rose 6.27% year on year to 1.60 million in August 2026, accelerating from a 2.95% increase in July as travel demand remained robust. In the first eight months of the year, arrivals increased 5.83% from the same period a year earlier to 10.58 million, the highest level for that period since 2020.
