Micron Technology reported record fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results as artificial intelligence demand drove data-center revenue more than 11-fold year over year. Fourth-quarter revenue reached $54.23 billion, above the $51.07 billion LSEG estimate, while adjusted earnings per share rose to $33.42 and annual revenue increased 256% to $133.19 billion. Micron forecast first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $61.5 billion and adjusted EPS of $38.15, both above analyst expectations. Strategic customer agreements increased to 26 from 16, with more than 35% of revenue through 2030 estimated to be secured in advance, although projected first-half fiscal 2027 capital expenditure of $25 billion has prompted scrutiny of future margins. The results reinforced expectations for Samsung Electronics and SK hynix and coincided with stronger Korean market indicators, including record September exports of $120.94 billion, semiconductor exports of $60.3 billion and a 4.48% rise in the KOSDAQ. Korean high-grade corporate bonds also attracted strong demand, while officials reduced planned October Treasury issuance and increased buybacks to ease market-rate pressure. A finalized South Korean investment program for the United States remained a separate market focus after Donald Trump cited more than $50 billion for Alaska LNG, a figure absent from the joint fact sheet, while President Lee Jae-myung said the project depends on commercial viability and domestic legal procedures.
