  • L2D will continue operating from its Paris headquarters after joining Clarenta’s group.

Clarenta has acquired a majority stake in Leads To Development (L2D), a Paris-based French consultancy serving biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in early drug development. The deal adds specialized expertise in nonclinical development, manufacturing and regulatory strategy to Clarenta’s existing capabilities in early drug-development consulting and Phase I work. L2D helps clients define development pathways, collect and assess preclinical data, establish and manage manufacturing processes, and prepare regulatory strategies that support the transition into clinical development. The company will continue operating from its Paris headquarters for existing and new clients. Clarenta said the partnership strengthens its ambition to become an integrated early-development partner, linking initial scientific decisions with first-in-human research and subsequent clinical work. Clarenta was formerly known as Comac Medical Group. L2D has supported biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in early drug development for more than 15 years.
