The XRP Ledger has surpassed 10 million payments through the x402 protocol, reaching 10.8 million transactions as adoption accelerated from one million in less than three months. Activity is running at about 500,000 payments a day across 2,287 live payable services and APIs, with transactions settled in XRP or RLUSD. The protocol enables autonomous AI agents to discover and pay for data, inference, credit and financial services through HTTP requests without human intervention. RLUSD’s market capitalization reached $2.49 billion, according to the report. Separately, Brazilian central securities depository CSDBR began the first phase of a Ripple partnership using XRPL as an additional verification layer for BTG Pactual investment-fund beneficiary certificates; CSDBR retains the official records and has more than 22 trillion reais in registered assets.
