Ensera launches alliance network for injectable combination products

  • Ensera launched the Ensera Alliance Network for injectable drug-device combination products.
  • Five companies currently participate, spanning injector platforms and fill-finish services.
  • Ensera plans to expand the non-exclusive network while members remain independent organizations.

Ensera, a global CDMO (contract development and manufacturing organization) specializing in commercialization support for injectable drug programs, launched the Ensera Alliance Network on Oct. 1, 2026, in Dublin. The network brings together injector platform providers SHL Medical, Stevanato Group and Ypsomed with fill-finish specialists Argonaut Manufacturing Services and American Injectables. It is intended to help pharmaceutical companies manage device platforms, fill-finish, final assembly and packaging through a more coordinated supply-chain model for drug-device combination products. Ensera said the network aims to reduce complexity from supplier handovers, identify challenges earlier and accelerate programs toward commercial supply. The network is non-exclusive, and Ensera and its participants remain independent organizations that customers can engage separately. Ensera plans to add organizations whose capabilities, standards and operating approaches complement existing members and customer needs.
