AST SpaceMobile shares were little changed Friday after B.Riley downgraded the stock from Buy to Neutral and cut its price target to $65 from $85. The shares were up 0.42% at $57.28 in premarket trading, according to Benzinga Pro data. Analyst Mike Crawford said the company remains a leader in direct-to-device broadband for unmodified smartphones, but its risk-reward profile has become more balanced amid delayed launches, rising constellation costs, competition from Viasat and Space42's Equatys venture, and limited data on mobile-network operator adoption and service pricing. AST SpaceMobile recently completed the orbital deployment of BlueBird 11 and shipped BlueBirds 14, 15 and 16 from Midland, Texas, to Cape Canaveral for launch. The company is targeting U.S. commercial beta service by late 2026 and approximately 45 satellites in orbit by early 2027.
