Open Standard launched OUSD, its Open USD stablecoin, on September 30, 2026, with 468.4 million tokens outstanding and approximately $468.45 million in backing assets, including about $257.2 million in cash and $211.2 million in Treasuries and short-duration money-market funds. OUSD is issued natively on Tempo, Base, Ethereum and Solana, with more than $400 million initially supplied on Tempo and more than $1 billion in liquidity committed by its founding partners. Stripe is distributing OUSD through eligible parts of its payments stack, while Coinbase enabled transfers across all four networks on October 1 in supported regions. OUSD can be minted and redeemed 1:1 with the dollar without fees or volume limits, with reserves held at BlackRock, Lead Bank and BNY and checked through monthly attestations. The consortium is targeting more than 200 partner companies and future use in cross-border payments and institutional trading.
