Bahrain will host the fourth Gateway Gulf forum on Nov. 1-2, 2026, at the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay under the theme "Reinventing Global Partnerships, Driving Sustainable Growth." Organized by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), the invitation-only event will bring together 200 senior officials, government ministers, business leaders and other influential figures from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. Discussions will focus on changing global capital flows, cross-border investment, economic connectivity, innovation, energy-system transformation, technology and the Gulf's growing role in global growth. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), whose combined economy exceeds $2.38 trillion, is presented as an increasingly important destination for capital, talent and innovation. Bahrain's non-oil sectors account for 86% of gross domestic product, supporting its positioning as a regional gateway for companies and investors. The 2025 edition generated more than $17 billion in announced transactions and investment commitments. Previous editions featured senior figures including Bahrain's Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa; Bahrain's Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of Bahrain EDB, Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif; and leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and international companies.
