Circle is urging EU policymakers to amend provisions of MiCA (the EU's crypto-asset regulation), arguing that the framework does not cover most leading global stablecoins. Patrick Hansen, Circle's EU strategy and policy director, said only three of the world's top 30 stablecoins currently comply with MiCA.
