Porsche is ending its Web3 project and Pioneers Circle holder community, withdrawing company-led communications and infrastructure while allowing PORSCHΞ 911 NFT holders to retain tokens on the blockchain. The Discord server will become a read-only archive and the @eth_porsche X account will no longer receive active updates. Porsche gave no specific reason for the shutdown and announced no redemption, burn or migration process. The collection was unveiled at Art Basel in Miami in December 2022 and opened for minting in January 2023 at 0.911 ETH per NFT, with an initial target of 7,500 tokens. Porsche halted the mint early after criticism and weak demand, later building community and in-person experiences around remaining holders. Cointelegraph reported the supply was capped at 2,363 tokens, differing from an earlier account citing 1,909 minted tokens. OpenSea data cited by Cointelegraph shows roughly $20 million in all-time trading volume, compared with about $38,000 over the past year and around $2,900 over the past month.
