Crypto trader Ansem said he recently converted part of his Solana (SOL) holdings into PUMP, betting the token could move above $0.01. He argues that a new all-time high for PUMP would create room for higher valuations among newly issued tokens. PUMP has risen about fivefold from its summer low, while its long-term accumulation phase and buyback mechanism continue and its cross-chain mobile application is attracting more attention. Ansem also said Bitcoin, Ethereum and SOL have held the upper ends of their recent ranges, with relatively healthy price action. Although no broad liquidation event has occurred, he believes many market participants remain positioned incorrectly and that further gains are possible. He identified Zcash (ZEC), HYPE and PUMP as his three leading trend assets. ZEC rose from about $40 in September 2025 to a range of $400 to $1,600 in the third quarter of 2026, while its market capitalization increased from about $500 million to $20 billion. Ansem said ZEC has entered a high-volatility phase resembling Bitcoin's 2017 cycle, potentially bringing sharper gains and pullbacks. His fourth-quarter outlook for crypto markets is bullish overall, though he expects October could bring a correction and open-interest (OI) cleansing, meaning the unwinding of outstanding derivatives positions. He said the market remains in an early bull-market phase, making leveraged positions riskier than high-conviction spot holdings.
