Bitget said the reward pool for its new Alliance Program exceeded $1.9 million during its first three days, weeks after a $387.5 million security breach. The exchange said it will continue allocating 30% of net platform trading-fee revenue from eligible non-institutional users to the pool through Oct. 26, with rewards paid in USDT. The program divides funds between trading and asset rewards, calculated using users' seven-day average daily trading volume and asset value. Bitget also offered eligible VIP1 to VIP7 users 30-day level-protection passes. The campaign follows unauthorized transfers from hot wallets on Sept. 24, which Bitget attributed to a zero-day flaw in third-party security products. The exchange said its private keys and cold wallets were not compromised, and later reported replenishing its User Protection Fund to more than $300 million.
