Tradewiz users lost approximately $459,000 across 20,933 wallets after a Sept. 30 private-key exposure involving the bot’s SOL PVP export feature. Bitquery linked the wallet collecting stolen funds to another wallet that had completed 27 Tradewiz trades about a month earlier, but said the connection does not establish who controlled either wallet or how the keys were exposed. Trading through the bot stopped 41 minutes into the main drain, yet about 73% of the SOL swept in that operation was taken afterward. Tradewiz told users to stop using existing SOL PVP wallet addresses, pledged full compensation, later said initial refunds had been sent subject to claim verification, and paused EVM services for security checks. The company said police were helping trace the assets and had contacted exchanges for identity and account-verification information. Bitquery identified earlier MEXC withdrawals and later transfers toward a Kucoin deposit address, without implicating either exchange. Customers are awaiting completed reimbursements and a technical explanation of the breach, while investigators may find the earlier trading activity useful in tracing the funds.
