Hyperliquid is expected to receive its first AQAv2 reserve-yield distribution on Oct. 3, with about $14.5 million in passive income from USDC reserves flowing into the Assistance Fund for HYPE buybacks. Under AQAv2, stablecoin deployers must allocate 90% of reserve income to the Hyperliquid protocol, and those proceeds are used entirely to buy back and burn HYPE. Reserve income is accumulated over 30-day periods and transferred automatically to the Assistance Fund on the eighth day after each period ends. Formal accrual began Aug. 26, making Oct. 3 the first scheduled payment date, according to HL HUB (Community).
