Paris Saint-Germain revealed that it holds Bitcoin (BTC) on its balance sheet and intends to expand PSG Labs, which supports companies building on the Bitcoin network. The club shifted part of its cash reserves into Bitcoin in 2024 and aims to promote tokenization, DAOs, NFTs, stablecoins, and more. PSG’s crypto initiatives date back to 2018 with a fan token launch and include partnerships with Crypto.com and blockchain validator operations on the Chiliz network.
