Tokenized shares of Powerus Corporation (Nasdaq: PUSA), a U.S. maker of autonomous drones and counter-drone systems, began trading on Solana on October 2, 2026, through Backpack Securities and the Sunrise platform. The launch followed Powerus's October 1 merger with Nasdaq-listed Aureus Greenway Holdings, which adopted the Powerus name and retained the PUSA ticker. Solana's official account highlighted the launch as part of the network's expanding ecosystem. The token recorded $8 million in trading volume within four hours, more than twice the dollar volume of the underlying Nasdaq stock over the same period, and about $12 million in its first 24 hours. Each token is backed 1:1 by a Powerus share held in custody and can be redeemed for the underlying stock. Unlike Nasdaq-listed shares, the token trades continuously, including outside traditional U.S. market hours, which could support additional liquidity and trading activity on Solana. Powerus has cited a $2.5 million defense order for FPV aircraft and a U.S. Air Force IDIQ contract for its Guardian-2 counter-drone system worth up to $90 million through mid-2028. Backpack Securities is unavailable to U.S. residents and customers in several other jurisdictions. The launch adds to Solana's expanding tokenized-equity market, where 63% of reported trades recently occurred after traditional market hours.
