Anthropic is committing $100 million to the Claude Frontier Academy, a program designed to train 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027. Its three-stage residency begins with multi-day in-person training, continues through simulated enterprise deployments, and ends with a 12-week placement in which engineers lead Claude projects inside their own organizations. Initial cohorts are operating in San Francisco, New York and London, with participants nominated by Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk. Accenture separately plans to train approximately 30,000 professionals on Claude. Anthropic says the initiative addresses a shortage of skilled AI personnel across industries as the company pushes toward what is expected to be a historic initial public offering. The initiative follows Anthropic's $100 million Claude Partner Network launched in March 2026 and reflects the company's view that enterprise AI adoption is increasingly constrained by skilled personnel. A Series H funding disclosure puts Anthropic's fundraising at $65 billion and its valuation at $965 billion. The company is also facing discussion of a potential IPO delay and has a financing arrangement with Broadcom for infrastructure development. The first two credentials are expected in early 2027, while the 10,000-engineer target is set for the end of 2027.
