Fidelity is considering opening its Ethereum-based tokenized money market fund to a broader investor pool and adding daily or intraday yield features, Crypto Briefing reported. The fund token is currently available only to accredited and institutional investors, while Fidelity’s existing products include the Fidelity Digital Interest Token (FDIT), launched by Fidelity Investments in September 2025, and the Fidelity USD Digital Liquidity Fund (FILQ), launched by Fidelity International on Ethereum on May 6, 2026. FILQ is an ERC-20 token issued through Sygnum’s Desygnate platform, carries a Moody’s Aaa-mf rating, uses Chainlink oracles and requires a $100,000 minimum investment. The fund supports 24/7 stablecoin settlement while calculating net asset value daily, and offers accumulating and distributing token classes. Tokenized U.S. Treasuries and liquidity products have surpassed $15 billion since the market’s expansion from 2024, with Ethereum hosting most activity. Fidelity has not specified who would qualify under broader access, whether the minimum investment would change or how a daily or intraday yield schedule would work. Market participants will watch for revised eligibility criteria, a lower minimum, a confirmed yield schedule and the growth of FILQ and FDIT relative to the wider market.
