Captain D's is preparing for further international franchise expansion as interest from prospective partners grows across Europe. Hair Parra, Senior Vice President of International Operations and Development, is tentatively scheduled to visit Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom in the second week of October, with other markets potentially added. Italy is an especially active market, while the company is also examining opportunities in Madrid and Valencia, Spain, and continues to view Poland and France as markets of interest. The expansion effort follows an international development trip earlier in 2026. In the United States, Captain D's unveiled a redesigned restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, in September. The new format updates the design and guest environment while retaining the brand's established identity, with planned introductions in Florida, Ohio and Oklahoma. The company is seeking experienced restaurant operators, multi-unit franchisees and master franchise partners to develop multiple international locations. Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Captain D's operates more than 530 restaurants across 23 states.
