Mineralys Therapeutics will present new data from the Phase 3 Launch-HTN trial of lorundrostat at the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week 2026 meeting, scheduled for October 21-25 in Denver. The oral presentation will assess blood-pressure and albuminuria reduction among patients with chronic kidney disease stages 1 to 3. Launch-HTN was a global, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in adults whose blood pressure remained uncontrolled despite treatment with two to five antihypertensive medicines. Participants received lorundrostat 50 mg once daily, lorundrostat 50 mg once daily with a prespecified option to increase to 100 mg at week six, or placebo. The primary endpoint was the six-week change from baseline in systolic blood pressure versus placebo, measured using automated office blood pressure monitoring. Lorundrostat is an investigational, orally administered aldosterone synthase inhibitor designed to reduce aldosterone production by inhibiting CYP11B2. Mineralys says the drug has completed six late-stage trials and is being developed for uncontrolled or resistant hypertension and related conditions including chronic kidney disease and obstructive sleep apnea.
