Bitcoin’s realized market capitalization (valuation based on each coin’s last on-chain movement) increased 1.2%, or $12.8 billion, over the 30 days through Oct. 2 to reach $1.079 trillion. The growth rate was roughly double the 0.66% recorded a month earlier. CryptoQuant contributor Axel Adler Jr. said the metric continued rising despite Bitcoin’s modest price pullback after its September gains, pointing to continued growth in the market’s aggregate on-chain cost basis.
