Revoke.cash has urged users to inspect the Auto-Revoking module on their account pages following last week's Magic Eden security incident involving older Ethereum NFT listings. The feature helps protect assets by revoking permissions separately across each network and wallet. Users should check every network for a yellow warning icon, restore an affected address to a regular account through another wallet application if necessary, and then upgrade it to a MetaMask smart account. They should also enable every network they use and grant the required permissions separately to each wallet included in their subscription. Ultimate subscribers must ensure both that the wallet has Auto-Revoking permission in MetaMask and that it has been upgraded to a MetaMask smart account on the relevant network. The upgrade normally occurs automatically during authorization but can fail if the address was previously upgraded through another wallet application.
