Hyperliquid, a perpetuals exchange and protocol, has received $14.6 million in USDC yield earmarked for HYPE token buybacks. The payment will go to Hyperliquid’s Assistance Fund, which is designed to buy back and burn HYPE. The funds come through AQAv2, a mechanism that allocates about 90% of the platform’s cost-adjusted USDC reserve yield to the fund, in addition to fee revenue. Market pricing reflects supportive sentiment, with a 68% YES probability for Hyperliquid reaching $100 by year-end 2026. Market participants will monitor future financial updates, buyback activity, partnership announcements and technological developments that could affect the outlook for HYPE.
