Aetna, a CVS Health company, announced its 2027 Medicare offerings, including Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans in 41 states plus Washington, D.C., with access for 57 million Medicare-eligible beneficiaries. The portfolio includes Medicare Advantage-only plans, SilverScript Choice prescription drug coverage, Medicare Supplement products and ancillary benefits. Aetna said its plans will maintain $0 copays for Tier 1 drugs at preferred pharmacies, covered vaccines at in-network pharmacies, selected preventive services and annual Healthy Home Visits, while including dental, vision, hearing and SilverSneakers benefits. The company is expanding Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans to six additional states, bringing availability to 25 states, and broadening its High Value Provider Incentive Program into two new states. It is also increasing its focus on HMO plans, care coordination for people with chronic conditions and dual eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid, and digital tools using conversational AI. The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period runs from October 15 through December 7, 2026.
