Cardano has completed a golden cross on its daily chart for the first time in 14 months, with its 50-day moving average crossing above the 200-day moving average. The token last recorded a daily golden cross in August 2025, when it rallied to $0.92 on August 14, but later lost momentum as selling pressure increased. A death cross formed in November 2025 and preceded months of declining price action. The latest signal comes during a week of positive fundamental developments. Petrobras selected Cardano as a public blockchain to guarantee the verifiability of sustainability information related to aviation fuel and renewable diesel through two new initiatives. Cardano also announced a partnership with Pacific Meta to expand its enterprise presence in Japan by combining Cardano infrastructure with local market expertise and enterprise integration. Network activity reached 43,181 transactions on October 1, Cardano's busiest day of the previous seven days. Separately, the Dijkstra upgrade is progressing: Cardano node 11.1.3 was released this week, while version 11.2 is currently expected in about 2–3 weeks. Version 11.2 is expected to include most of the Dijkstra scope, including a new block format and Plutus V4 context, but not Leios. The public DijkstraNet testnet is expected to launch with 11.2 for ecosystem-wide testing and scaled integration work. The release date for version 11.3, the hard-fork release candidate containing the full Dijkstra feature set, including Leios, has not been determined.
