A wallet identified by Lookonchain as belonging to Andrew Tate transferred 20,950 HYPE, worth about $1.87 million, to Binance on Oct. 2. Lookonchain estimates the wallet’s total HYPE profit at $7.24 million, representing a 1,317% return on an initial purchase of about $550,000. The wallet bought 122,826.9 HYPE on Nov. 29, 2024, at an average price of $4.48, sold 41,430 tokens within 48 hours for roughly $300,000, and placed much of the remaining balance into staking (locking tokens to earn rewards). The transfer followed Hyperliquid’s seven-day unstaking queue: 63,367 HYPE entered the wallet after leaving staking, 20,950 HYPE moved through Hyperliquid’s system to its HyperEVM balance, and a test transfer preceded the Binance deposit. The wallet retained 42,417 HYPE, valued at about $3.7 million at Saturday’s price. The gains contrast with Tate’s record trading leveraged perpetuals (futures contracts without expiration dates), including at least 107 liquidations on Hyperliquid and losses exceeding $727,000 in November 2025. Lookonchain also recorded a 40x long position on 57.36 BTC losing $95,478 in 2026, while Arkham recorded eight liquidations in 24 hours that month. Tokens Tate promoted, including Daddy Tate, Roost and Germany Token, also crashed amid insider trading allegations, while HYPE remained an exception.
