Shiba Inu (SHIB) began trading on Solana after Sunrise announced its listing at 16:05 UTC on Oct. 4, 2026. The Shiba Inu account confirmed the launch five minutes later, while the official Solana account followed at 16:11 UTC. Sunrise identified the listed mint as the canonical Solana version, but did not disclose the bridge used. Solana Compass recorded 3,005 trades worth about $300,000 from 1,401 wallets in the five minutes to 16:27 UTC. The integration gives the Ethereum-based ERC-20 token direct access to Solana’s decentralized-finance markets without requiring users to leave the network’s ecosystem. It does not move SHIB from Ethereum or transfer Shibarium to Solana. Sunrise, powered by Wormhole Labs, creates or recognizes canonical Solana representations of external assets and connects them with liquidity, wallets, decentralized exchanges and aggregators. SHIB was trading at around $0.0000057 at press time, with little meaningful price response to the listing.
