BlackRock has created three model portfolios focused on high income, diversified growth and high growth, and Ondo Finance has converted each strategy into a single token for onchain (blockchain-based) access. The portfolios combine stocks, bonds and Bitcoin ETFs, and the tokens can be traded around the clock, transferred between wallets and platforms, connected to financial applications, and used as collateral in onchain apps. The launch comes as tokenized real-world assets approach $9 billion in market capitalization, with equities recording the fastest growth in holders and trading volume. Broadridge said model portfolios held about $9.8 trillion in assets as of June. Partnerships including Mirae Asset in Korea and SBI in Japan are expanding access across Asia, Europe and Australia. Coin Bureau said the development moves tokenization beyond individual assets toward entire investment strategies, while noting that AI-generated portfolios tailored to investor goals, risk tolerance and tax situations remain a possibility rather than a confirmed development.
