Bitcoin’s rise of more than 1% on Sunday, October 4, 2026, has refocused attention on a pattern in which recent Sunday moves often reversed on Monday. Market analyst Ali Charts highlighted the setup in a six-part thread on X, noting that Sunday rallies were followed by pullbacks while Sunday declines were followed by rebounds over the past month. A TD Sequential indicator (a chart-based trend exhaustion tool) also flashed sell signals on the four-hour charts of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. Bitcoin’s four previous comparable signals were followed by corrections, although their sizes were not provided. Ethereum’s last two signals preceded declines of 5.40% and 3.31%, while Solana’s last three were followed by corrections of 2.44%, 5.76% and 5.30%. Ali Charts said the calendar pattern and technical signals together pointed to a possible pullback at the start of the week.
