Airbus delivered 72 aircraft in September, bringing its nine-month total to 547, an 8% increase from the same period last year. September deliveries were broadly flat compared with 73 planes a year earlier. The planemaker is targeting around 870 deliveries for the full year, up 10% from 793 in 2025, despite earlier concerns about the cumulative effect of supply-chain delays. Airbus sold 17 aircraft in September, taking gross orders for the year so far to 1,174 jets. After three additional cancellations during the month, net orders for the first nine months stood at 1,105.
