BNB Chain has become the first blockchain to surpass 2 million holders of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), according to onchain data from RWA.xyz. The network represents about 40% of all onchain RWA holders, ahead of Robinhood Chain with nearly 1.6 million. Tokenized stocks are driving the latest growth: their market capitalization on BNB Chain rose by $106.2 million over seven days, compared with $63.4 million on X Layer and $29.1 million on Solana. Binance’s bStocks products contributed nearly $97 million of BNB Chain’s increase. Across the crypto market, tokenized stocks have exceeded $3 billion in market capitalization. BNB Chain’s lead reflects distribution across wallets rather than capital concentrated among a few large holders, although wallet totals do not equal unique investors because one person can control multiple addresses. The key test is whether these holders become active in trading, lending, collateral and other decentralized finance (DeFi) applications as tokenized assets expand beyond ownership. The figures also show that tokenization growth is spreading beyond Ethereum as issuers explore lower-cost networks and crypto-native distribution.
