Robinhood Chain activity weakened after a memecoin-driven surge, with transactions, fees, spot trading and active addresses declining through September and early October. The network averaged 6.2 million daily transactions from Oct. 2–8, down 42% from 10.8 million during Sept. 10–16, while daily active addresses fell 31% to about 322,000. Earlier data showed fees dropping 97% from approximately $8 million in early September to about $230,000 on Sept. 16, as Pons memecoin volume fell 37%. Spot volume later declined 21% week over week to $7.45 billion and network fees fell 39% to about $65,000 a day, although deposits in lending and trading applications rose 2% to $1.04 billion, stablecoin supply reached roughly $1.10 billion and perpetual-futures volume increased 26% to about $7.35 billion. Robinhood continues covering fees on qualifying wallet swaps through Dec. 31 while activity diversifies beyond memecoins and the chain supports cross-chain swaps through NEAR Intents.
