Amazon.com Inc. is negotiating to acquire artificial-intelligence startup Decart AI in a deal valued at about $7 billion, with the transaction potentially nearing completion if talks do not collapse. No formal agreement has been announced. Decart was founded in 2023 by Israeli engineers Dean Leitersdorf, Orian Leitersdorf and Moshe Shalev. The company develops the Decart Optimization Stack, software designed to help AI models operate across NVIDIA GPUs, Google TPUs and Amazon Trainium chips, and also offers the Lucy and Oasis world models. Anthropic considered acquiring Decart for about $6 billion, conducted due diligence and withdrew from discussions in September 2026. Decart has raised more than $450 million, including a previously reported $300 million May funding round at a $4 billion valuation.
