Strategy purchased 250 BTC for about $21.5 million in the week ended Oct. 11, raising its holdings to 848,250 BTC, while repurchasing $192.4 million of STRC preferred stock. The Bitcoin acquisition was funded with roughly $21 million of MSTR common-stock sales and $500,000 of cash. The purchase was Strategy's fourth consecutive weekly Bitcoin buy but followed larger acquisitions of 1,665 BTC and 334 BTC in the prior two weeks. Its U.S. dollar reserve stood at $4.88 billion, alongside $640.5 million in treasury cash, while $354.8 million remained authorized for preferred-stock repurchases and $1 billion for MSTR buybacks. Bitcoin traded near $83,000 after U.S. spot ETFs recorded their largest weekly redemptions since June. Peter Schiff had criticized Strategy after its Bitcoin yield fell 3.7% year-to-date in 2026.
