LS ELECTRIC has signed a 185.3 billion-won ($138.49 million) contract with U.S. fuel cell company Bloom Energy to supply 38-kilovolt high-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers for a fuel cell-based on-site power project at a major technology company's data center in Pennsylvania. Deliveries are scheduled from April through July 2027. The deal takes cumulative orders between the companies above $500 million since April 2025, a milestone LS Electric said was reached in about 18 months, and supports its expansion in North American power infrastructure for artificial intelligence data centers. The company is supplying the equipment as an integrated package and has localized sales, design, production and service operations through LS Electric Utah and its Bastrop Campus in Texas.
