Anduril Industries opened a tender offer allowing employees to sell shares at $94.80 each, valuing the defense technology startup at approximately $90 billion. The sale is capped at about $1.3 billion, opened on Oct. 13 and closes Nov. 9. It is the first Anduril tender open to employees in 16 countries; prior offers were limited to staff in the U.S., U.K. and Australia. The company, launched in 2017 by Palmer Luckey, develops autonomous systems, drones and military software and is expanding into maritime and undersea technology. Its valuation has risen from $60 billion following a $5 billion Series H funding round announced in May and led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. Anduril also recently secured a U.S. Army contract worth up to $1.8 billion for its Next-Generation Command and Control system and partnered with Gecko Robotics to automate maritime manufacturing inspections.
