Michael Saylor's recent post hints at continued Bitcoin purchases by Strategy, following a substantial stock offering to fund acquisitions.
Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, indicated a potential new Bitcoin acquisition through a recent post on X, where he emphasized the firm's intention to increase Bitcoin purchases. Strategy has bought 705 BTC for nearly $75 million in the past week, bringing its total holdings to 580,955 BTC, valued at approximately $61.4 billion. This marks the ninth consecutive week of Bitcoin purchases by the firm. Saylor's posts often precede acquisitions, though a recent report suggests a slowdown in buying due to a declining premium for MSTR shares relative to Bitcoin holdings. Additionally, Strategy announced a $1 billion stock offering to fund further Bitcoin acquisitions and corporate expenses.
