XRP’s dedicated account on X had more than 47,000 followers a few hours after launch, up from about 33,000 roughly two hours after it went live on Oct. 19, 2026. The account’s current opening post is described as “hello, world”; earlier coverage said its debut included a 10-second logo video and a brief greeting. Its profile says Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation jointly manage the account and identifies XRP as the ledger’s native token. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse welcomed the launch, as did accounts including Gemini, Uphold, Moonpay, Flare and the XRP Ledger account. The account’s arrival followed a week of partnership announcements and expanded Wall Street reach for Ripple. XRP, meanwhile, was rejected at $1.40 and fell to $1.25 before finding support. Analyst Ali Martinez said the rebound and a surge in XRP Ledger activity at that price indicated the token had bottomed. Earlier coverage placed XRP near $1.30 at the account announcement, with conflicting reports of 24-hour gains of 2.11% and 2.4%.
