CMCC Global plans to tokenize its Crest Fund and Liberty Bitcoin Accumulation Fund, or LBAF, under El Salvador's digital asset law. Built on Tether's Hadron tokenization platform, the funds will be issued, distributed and traded through Bitfinex Securities. BTCS S.A., a Warsaw- and Frankfurt-listed digital asset treasury company, has agreed to act as anchor investor and intends to allocate an undisclosed triple-digit bitcoin amount at launch. Crest seeks returns above U.S. Treasury bill yields in U.S. dollar terms, while LBAF targets net annualized returns of 8–12% measured in bitcoin. Both are multi-manager quantitative hedge funds using market-neutral strategies including funding-rate, cross-venue and volatility arbitrage, market making and decentralized finance. Subscriptions are open until Oct. 30, 2026, with tokens priced at USD10 for CREST and 0.0001 BTC for LBAF. Eligible holders will have access to 24/7/365 secondary-market trading, subject to KYC and AML controls, as well as approved self-custody through whitelisted addresses.
