The attacker involved in the Bitrue incident has exchanged significant amounts of ETH for DAI, raising further concerns about security in the crypto industry.
According to Lookonchain, the Bitrue attacker exchanged 4,207 ETH for $16.34 million DAI at a price of $3,885 per ETH in March 2024 and has recently repurchased 2,999 ETH for $2.769 million DAI. This activity follows the earlier attack that converted approximately 6.1 million DAI into around 2,197 ETH, highlighting persistent security issues in cryptocurrency exchanges.
