Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has agreed to partner with TradeXYZ to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures to the United States, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE plans to operate the markets and establish dedicated exchange and clearing infrastructure for perpetual contracts tied to cryptocurrencies, equities, indices, commodities and foreign exchange, while making a strategic investment in TradeXYZ. The products are expected to be distributed through participating brokers and platforms. Under the proposed structure, Hyperliquid would provide the underlying technology through its HIP-3 system, TradeXYZ would design and implement the markets, and ICE would operate the regulated venue and clearing framework. HYPE rose 15% on Thursday to around $91.21, after reaching an all-time high of $97.96 last month. The initiative follows growing activity in Hyperliquid's builder-deployed markets, CFTC staff relief issued in May, and President Donald Trump's September reference to bringing the protocol into the U.S. in a fully compliant and legal fashion.
